ABOUT BLAINE

Born and raised on a family farm west of Sherwood, Blaine learned early the value of hard work, responsibility, and strong values. Those ideals have guided him throughout his life and his 40-year career in the banking industry.
Blaine currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Senior Executive Vice President at First International Bank & Trust, overseeing five markets and 28 branch locations. His career has been defined by strategic decision-making, fiscal responsibility, and leadership rooted in accountability.
This experience gives Blaine a clear understanding of the challenges facing small businesses, workforce recruitment, housing, and infrastructure—insight he will bring to the Legislature.

Focused on District 3
Blaine will work to champion legislation that helps strengthen and improve all communities in North Dakota. For District 3, that means:
Completion of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project to protect all our communities, homes, farms and private property along the Souris River.
Continued development of the ND Port Services and Industrial Park.
Advancing four-lane expansion of Highway 52 from Minot to Voltaire for safety and commerce.
